A mtDNA Sequence of a Fossil Polar bear Jawbone

I came Lindqvist et al. (2010) in PNAS and decided to summarise it as it fitted with my current skull of the month. A fossil jawbone found to the far east of Norway was identified as a polar bear. The specimen was dated and it’s mtDNA sequenced which provided information regarding the polar bears evolution.
