So I had an interview today for quite a cool job (not going say what it is just in case I jinx it!). Anyway the interview went well and I hope to hear back some time next week so I have my fingers crossed! My interview was in London and as I was finished by the early afternoon I decided to go and explore some museums. I was near Euston so I had a quick look in the Wellcome Collection which had an exhibition called ‘Medicine Now’. There were some incredible pieces on display including a body slice (see the feature image) and other amazing art pieces. I definitely recommend going.

As I started making my way back on the tube I thought I would stop off at Tottenham Court Road for a wonder – and suddenly remembered that the British Museum was just around the corner. Now this is a big museum which covers a huge expanse of time and displays many different objects from Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt and items from Britain to Peru and Japan. To fully explore the museum that you would definitely need a full day there – but I just gently strolled round for about an hour. I’ve visited before and it was so nice just to cast my eye across this extensive collection. I suppose one of the most popular exhibits is the Ancient Egyptians, so I took a few pictures.

To see all the picture I took, and their description plaques go over to my tumblr account. There are two links one for the Wellcome Collection and another for the British Museum.
